Ongoing Guidance

    Fractional AI Leadership

An experienced AI and technology advisor on your side, a few days a month. Some people call this a fractional CTO.

    Who this is for

Fractional AI Leadership gives you ongoing, senior help with AI and technology decisions, without hiring a full-time executive. It usually fits one of two groups.

The first is clients who have finished an AI Consulting or AI Implementation project and want someone to keep things moving: updating the plan, spotting the next opportunity, and making sure what was built keeps working.

The second is owners who are still the unofficial head of IT. In our experience, this works fine early on. But as the team grows, decisions about software, data and AI start piling up on one busy person. Things get bought on impulse, tools overlap, and nobody has time to step back and ask what the business actually needs.

    What you get

Think of this as having an experienced advisor who knows your business, your tools and your goals, and who you can call before making a technology decision instead of after. Here is what a typical month includes:

A monthly strategy session to review priorities and progress
Help with vendor and tool decisions before you sign anything
Your AI roadmap, kept up to date as the business changes
A quarterly tool audit to cut unused or overlapping software
Priority support when questions come up
Help evaluating new AI tools, so you only adopt what fits

When it is the right step

    • You are still the unofficial head of IT, and it is eating your time
    • Tool and vendor decisions keep getting made by whoever is loudest or most available
    • You have finished an AI project and want someone to keep it on track
    • Your software costs keep growing, but nobody is sure what is actually used
    • You want a second opinion before big technology purchases
    • You need senior guidance but cannot justify a full-time hire

If none of these sound familiar yet, that is fine. A one-time project is often all a small business needs, and we will tell you so.

One mistake we commonly see is waiting too long. By the time an owner asks for help, the business is paying for several tools that do the same job, nobody remembers who set up which account, and important customer data lives in a spreadsheet only one person understands. Getting steady guidance earlier is usually cheaper than cleaning up later. It also means new AI tools get tested against a clear plan, so your team is not chasing every new release.
